Customs, VAT & IOSS

DressMeZee is part of the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme, which makes importing goods much simplifies VAT handling for our EU customers. More information can be found here: IOSS (europa.eu)

Orders Under €150

For orders with a total value of €150 or less, all applicable VAT is calculated and paid at checkout. No additional VAT or customs charges are due upon delivery.

Orders Over €150

For orders exceeding €150, IOSS does not apply. In these cases, VAT and any applicable customs duties will be charged by the courier at the point of delivery. These charges are determined by the local customs authority and remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Important Notes

  • Order Values: All orders are declared at their full and correct value, and we are unable to alter or amend them.
  • Order Confirmation: Detailed tax and duty information is included within all order confirmation emails for reference. This ensures there are no surprises once the parcel arrives in the destination country.
  • Agreement of Terms: By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any applicable customs fees, taxes, or handling charges required by the local government.
  • Fully Tracked: All orders are sent via fully tracked services, allowing the parcel’s journey to be monitored from the warehouse. During international transit, tracking updates may temporarily appear to pause while the parcel is in flight or clearing customs. This is a standard part of the journey.
    • For certain destinations, the parcel may be transferred to a local courier for the final leg of delivery. In these instances, a new local tracking reference may be provided on the original tracking page to allow the parcel’s progress to be monitored until it reaches the final destination.
  • Refused Deliveries: If an order is refused or additional payments not made, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse. In these instances, the original shipping cost, return shipping fees, and any incurred customs charges will be deducted from the final refund.
