Refund Card Expired or ReplacedUpdated 19 days ago
If the card used to place your order has expired, been replaced, or has been cancelled since your purchase, your refund can usually still be processed successfully.
When a refund has been issued, it is always issued back to the original payment method used at checkout. Even if the physical card is no longer active, most banks and payment providers will automatically redirect the funds to your replacement card or the bank account linked to it.
In most cases, you don’t need to do anything or provide new card details for your refund to be received. This is handled automatically by your bank or card provider as part of their standard refund handling procedure.
- Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used when the order was placed.
- We’re unable to manually send a refund to a different card, bank account, or alternative payment method.
- If your card has been renewed, replaced due to loss or fraud, or cancelled and reissued, your bank will transfer the refund to the correct account automatically.
- The timing of this process can vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
How long will it take?
Once your refund has been processed on our side, it may take 3-7 working days for the funds to appear in your account. In some cases, banks may take a little longer to update the transaction, especially if the original card details have changed.
If you can’t see your refund
If you have received confirmation that your refund has been processed but the funds are not showing in your account, we recommend contacting your bank or payment provider directly.
They’ll be able to:
- Check whether the refund has been redirected to your new card or linked account
- Trace the transaction using the refund details
- Confirm whether any additional processing time is required
If you contact your bank, it may be helpful to have your refund confirmation email or order details ready, including the date and time the refund was issued.
