At DressMeZee, we understand that sometimes you might change your mind about an order. However, once an order is placed, it moves to our warehouse to be prepared for shipping.

Can I Cancel My Order?

As our team work efficiently to dispatch your items, there is only a very narrow window in which an order can be amended or cancelled.

  • Before Shipping: If you contact us after placing your order, we may be able to cancel it before it ships. However, this depends entirely on how far the order has progressed and cannot be guaranteed.
  • In Transit: We cannot cancel orders once they have been dispatched and are already in transit.
  • Peak Times: During busy periods such as sales, holidays, or special events, orders are processed even faster, so cancellations are generally not possible once placed.

If you would like to check if your order can still be cancelled, please contact us as soon as possible.

What if I’ve Already Received My Order?

If your order has already arrived but you no longer wish to keep it, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your decision to return the items. You can easily register your return via our Returns Portal.

Why Has My Order Been Cancelled?

We understand how disappointing it can be to receive a cancellation notification when you’ve found the perfect piece. While we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience, there are occasions where we may need to cancel an order.

Below are the most common reasons this may happen:

  1. Quality Control & Stock Availability

    We take great pride in our products, and every item undergoes a final quality control inspection before being packaged for dispatch.
    • Failed Inspection: If our team identifies a flaw or imperfection during this check and a replacement is unavailable, we will not ship the item, and it will be cancelled.
    • Inventory: Occasionally, an item may appear available at the time of purchase but become unavailable before dispatch. In such cases, we will notify you straight away.

    Where possible, our team may also offer suitable alternatives, such as a different size, a similar item, or a discounted option, subject to availability.

    If an item cannot be fulfilled, a full refund for the affected item(s) will be issued.

  2. Additional Checks & Information

    In some cases, we may need to carry out additional checks before an order can be processed. This helps ensure that all order details are accurate and delivery can be completed without issue.
    • Incomplete delivery information
    • Payment issues or authorisation failures
    • Orders that require additional verification

    If further information is needed, our team will always attempt to contact you via email. However If we do not receive a reply within a reasonable timeframe, the order may be cancelled and refunded.
