Finding Your Perfect FitUpdated 8 days ago
At DressMeZee, we want every customer to feel confident and comfortable in their purchase. Use this guide to ensure the most accurate fit and to understand how our garments are designed to sit.
Tips to help you choose the right size:
- Consult the Size Guide: A comprehensive guide is available on every product page. Most garments follow standard UK sizing unless otherwise specified. You can also view our full Size Chart for measurements.
- Measure Yourself: Use a soft measuring tape to measure your bust, waist, and hips, then compare your measurements with our size chart for the best match.
- Check the Fabric: Stretch fabrics offer more flexibility, whereas structured, non-stretch fabrics could require selecting your usual - or sizing up - for comfort.
- Read the Description: Some styles may run slightly larger or smaller than usual. We’ll always mention this in the product description when relevant.
- Fit Preference: Consider whether you prefer a more fitted or relaxed look when choosing between sizes.
Between sizes?
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size, particularly for structured or non-stretch fabrics.
If you remain unsure, you may wish to consider ordering more than one size to find your perfect fit. We offer a 14-day return policy, allowing you to shop with confidence and return any items that are not quite right for an exchange or refund.
Understanding Product Length
Finding the right length is just as important as the fit. In most cases, garment length remains consistent across sizes, while adjustments are made to the bust, waist, and hips for proportion.
However, please note:
- Design Variations: Certain silhouettes - such as asymmetric styles or floor‑length gowns - may have small length increases in larger sizes to maintain the intended drape and proportions.
- Overall Fit: On more fitted or bodycon styles, the fabric may appear slightly shorter when worn due to stretch. If you’re between sizes or have a fuller figure, this is worth considering when selecting your size.
Visualising the Fit
To help you visualise how a piece will look in person, we provide several references to help you understand how the garment will look when worn:
- Model Information: Each product lists the model’s height and the size they are wearing.
- Standard Categories:
- Mini: Designed to sit mid-thigh.
- Midi: Designed to sit between the knee and mid-calf.
- Maxi: Designed to reach the ankle or floor-length.
